    Lose That Belly Fat-Now While You Rush, Rush, Rush Around!

    Everyone is in a hurry all the time these days, which makes it easy to skip our exercise routines in favor of our never ending “to do” lists. This is a great place to start. Let’s all add several easy activities to our list each day that we take pleasure in and burn fat at the same time.

    Remember when recess was your favorite subject in school? Let’s time travel back to then, to where being active was FUN, not another chore to dooooo!

    Some easy and fun ideas that we have added to our daily routine include:

    1. Parking out in the boonies of all those parking lots (yes, we occasionally see those rolling bushes, formally known as tumble weeds).

    2. We take and sometimes race up and down the stairs to get a full body workout instead of the limiting elefator that only works your pudgy li’l fingers.

    3. We ditch the car keys in favor of our lovely feet or loyal bikes to carry us to the stores that are close enough... think Manhattan style. A cool bonus with that tip, is you get to know your neighbors and your neighborhood more intimately, always nice!

    4. On a bit more lethargic note, if watching t.v. in the evenings, use those pesky commercials as an opportunity to refine yo’ fine rear end (aka your buttocks). Do some squats or lunges, or if you are feeling very vigorous, try some burpees during each break. (And no, burping doesn’t count - if you don’t know what burpees are, google ‘em, and do ‘em) Or perhaps you want to experiment with holding a different yoga pose for each commercial.

Our family photo albums are filled with happy memories of days spent outdoors swimming at the beach, sledding down snow hills that are entirely too big for sane minded peop’s, searching for peacock feathers, hiding under the bushes at arboretums (yes, we do get muddy at times) and days spent exploring the zoos and wild animal parks.

    4. And finally, as our closer, we highly recommend a minimum of three good roll on the floor belly laughs a day!!
